Two wheels is enough.
I've been riding quite a bit. The weather hasn't been bad and with the electric heat, most days are pretty good for riding. Mostly been checking out areas and roads that I haven't been on before.
Yesterday I picked up the mail at the farm and proceeded to check out roads I grew up knowing about but never being on (the other side of the county). I got to a lot of them.
The roads:
Yell Road, Gills Chapel Road, Monty Murray Road, Poor House Road, Cheek Road, Old Lake Road, New Lake Road, Snake Creek Road, Rambo Hollow Road...
These are roads that were gravel. They are oil over gravel now. Some are just wide enough for a car. Most of them are pretty narrow and wind through quite hilly areas. I'm pretty sure the old lake road had a section called "devils backbone" when it was gravel. Honestly, gravel just doesn't work very well when a road get that steep, so it turns into a rutted, washboarded mess.
Finished up blasting northward on I65 a bit over the limit.
220 excellent miles.
